JPS Heath Network proudly hosted its annual DAISY Award Recipient Luncheon, honoring the nurses who received the DAISY Award in 2024. The event occurred on Friday, January 24, in the JPS OPC Auditorium, allowing everyone to celebrate their extraordinary commitment to providing exceptional clinical care daily.
The DAISY Award is an international accolade that recognizes the compassion and clinical skills that nurses demonstrate in patient care. Nurses who receive this award are nominated by their colleagues, patients, and their families, making it a true testament to their outstanding service and dedication. These nurses symbolize excellence in healthcare while making a significant impact on the lives of their patients. The luncheon is a special event that allows JPS to acknowledge their dedication and express gratitude for their contributions to the community’s health.
“Our DAISY Award recipients are an example of what it means to treat patients with care and respect. These nurses provide care selflessly each day and go above and beyond to ensure the well-being of our community.” Phyllis Chambers, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, Chief Nursing Officer, said. “This luncheon allows us to celebrate their achievements and highlight the impact they have on the patients they serve.”
The recipients of this award represent a diverse range of nurses from multiple specialties at JPS. These nurses have prioritized fostering a supportive environment that impacts the delivery of quality healthcare.
