Multicultural Alliance Announces New CEO Search and Names Fort Worth Businesswoman and Nonprofit Leader Rattana Mao as Interim CEO

Multicultural Alliance (MCA), a Fort Worth-based organization dedicated to advancing inclusion, understanding and equity, announced today the launch of a search for its next President and CEO as the organization celebrates its 75th anniversary. The Board of Directors named Fort Worth businesswoman and nonprofit leader Rattana Mao as Interim President and CEO. Mao will guide the organization during the transition, supporting day-to-day operations, community engagement, fundraising and program continuity while the Board conducts a comprehensive search for its next leader. As the organization marks this milestone year, it is focused on honoring 75 years of service while strengthening its role as a trusted convener across diverse communities. The next President and CEO will be responsible for advancing the mission through strategic leadership, community trust-building, fundraising, program impact, and close partnership with the Board of Directors. “It is an honor to support the Multicultural Alliance during this important milestone year,” said Rattana Mao, Interim President and CEO. “For 75 years, MCA has helped bring people together through education, dialogue and shared commitment to equity and understanding. I look forward to working with the Board, staff, partners and community to sustain that momentum during this transition.”

Mao brings more than 20 years’ of experience in business and strategic development, fundraising and event management to her role as Interim President and CEO. Throughout her career, she has helped organizations strengthen community engagement, build meaningful partnerships and expand their impact through mission-driven collaboration. Her leadership experience includes roles with Child Care Associates, the American Warrior Association and Comerica Bank. She holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. A dedicated Fort Worth community advocate, Mao is committed to advancing collaboration, inclusion and opportunities that strengthen the region for all.
