NATIONAL WORK ZONE AWARENESS WEEK EVENT ON APRIL 24 TO HIGHLIGHT SAFETY

FORT WORTH, Texas – On Thursday, April 24th at 11:30 a.m., North Tarrant Infrastructure (NTI) will host a press conference to promote Work Zone Awareness Week (April 21-25).

With drivers hitting the road for vacations, errands, and daily commutes, staying mindful behind the wheel is more important than ever. National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) serves as a vital reminder for motorists to stay alert in work zones, ensuring the safety of roadway workers, themselves, and their passengers. This annual event will take place in the Cabela’s parking lot adjacent to the I-35W service road at SH170 (12901 Cabela’s Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76177).

Representatives from NTI, as well as various subcontractors, project partners on the front line, will discuss the critical importance of safety in road construction work zones for workers and motorists. Project partners from NTE Mobility Partners, the project’s developer, and the Texas Department of Transportation will also be in attendance. Speakers will include:

  • Kyle Freeman, National Senior Safety Manager, Ferrovial Construction
  • Ignacio Milan, CEO, North Tarrant Infrastructure
  • Jose Espinosa, CEO, NTE Mobility Partners
  • Korey Coburn, Director of Construction, TxDOT
  • Ben Juarez, Global Director of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, Ferrovial

There will be visual displays at the event location. The program will be conducted in both English and Spanish, and lunch will be served immediately following the program.
