Ballroom Transformation Marks First Step in Major Clubwide Refresh
The Petroleum Club of Fort Worth has completed Phase I of its $1 million renovation, delivering a full transformation of the club’s iconic Ballroom.
The renovation focuses on refining the space while preserving what has always set it apart—its scale, its presence, and its panoramic views of downtown Fort Worth. Updates include new lighting and AV capabilities, upgraded furnishings, and a complete interior refresh designed to better support both member use and high-level events.
The Ballroom remains the centerpiece of the club. These improvements position it to continue serving as one of Fort Worth’s most sought-after venues for business gatherings, private events, and citywide functions. “This is about raising the standard of what our members experience here,” said Steve Till, General Manager of the Petroleum Club of Fort Worth. “The Ballroom has always been central to the club. Now it reflects the level of events and the community it serves.”

Additional phases are already underway. Upcoming work will include a full renovation of the main dining room, enhancements to the bar, and the introduction of a dedicated spirits room—further strengthening the club’s dining and social environment.
Founded in 1953, the Petroleum Club of Fort Worth has long played a role in the city’s business and energy sectors. Over the decades, it has welcomed notable figures including Marilyn Monroe, Jimmy Stewart, Bob Hope, and Elvis Presley, while continuing to serve as a gathering place for professionals across industries. More recently, the club was featured as a filming location in the Paramount+ series Landman, further highlighting its distinct character and longstanding presence in Fort Worth.

Located on the 40th floor at 777 Main Street, the Petroleum Club of Fort Worth continues to evolve while maintaining its role as a central meeting place for the city’s business community. The club remains open throughout all renovation phases, with uninterrupted access to dining and amenities.
