The National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum (NMWHM) proudly announces the distinguished honorees for its 21st Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Banquet Gala, taking place Thursday, October 16, 2025, at The Fort Worth Club, 306 W. 7th Street, 12th Floor, Fort Worth, TX 76102. The evening begins with a VIP reception and silent auction at 6:00 PM, followed by the banquet and awards presentation at 7:00 PM.
This year’s honorees also include FREDRICK CRUMP, known as the Mounted Medic, and MURDOCK, (the Man with No First Name), Founder of Broken Arrow Riding Club. Posthumous inductees include SHARON N. BRAXTON, trailblazer, among the first African American women to register with the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association; RALPH F. LOGAN, WWl (365th Infantry) Purple Heart recipient and cattleman; JOHN A. PRATHER, rancher and advocate; and CASTON RICHARD, SR., Former President of the Southern Cowboy Rodeo Association.
“Each year, it is our honor and privilege to present a new class of Western heroes and legends with an induction into the Hall of Fame,” says NMWHM Co-Founder Jim Austin. “Our honorees represent the very best of those who work tirelessly to carry on the legacy of those who helped build this nation. Without these brave men and women, much of the Western way of life would only be found in history books. Thanks to them, the legacy and cultural impact has been preserved and will be passed on to countless generations to come.” In addition to the induction presentation, the evening will also feature a silent auction and returning as emcee longtime Dallas radio and television personality SCOTT MURRAY, CEO of Murray Media, who was inducted into the Museum’s Hall of Fame in 2017.

ABOUT THE NATIONAL MULTICULTURAL WESTERN HERITAGE MUSEUM & HALL OF FAME
Founded in 2001 and presently located at 2201 Dottie Lynn Pkwy, Suite 115, Fort Worth, TX 76120, the National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum was established to honor the men and women of all cultures who helped shape the American West.
NMWHM 2025 Hall of Fame Honorees Announced
The Hall of Fame, added in 2003, serves as a living legacy, recognizing trailblazers of the past while celebrating modern role models who embody the values of resilience, integrity, and community that define the Western way of life. Each inductee’s story contributes to a broader understanding of the diverse individuals whose determination and spirit build and continue to sustain Western traditions.
The Museum preserves and presents these histories through artifacts, photographs, and first-hand accounts that shed light on Hispanic American, Native American, European American, and African American contributions often overlooked in mainstream narratives.
Beyond preservation, the Museum actively engages the community with educational programs, cultural workshops, storytelling events, historical reenactments, and traveling exhibitions. Its mission is to celebrate heritage, inspire pride, and ensure that the lessons and values of the West — hard work, courage, and perseverance — are carried forward for generations to come.
The National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum 21st Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Banquet Gala is sponsored by the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, Visit Fort Worth, Wrangler, Total Energies, H-E-B, Frost, Jim Austin Online and Kelly Hart Attorneys at Law.
