Women’s Policy Forum Speaker Wandaliz Turner

Tarrant County, Texas — The Women’s Policy Forum will host its March Luncheon on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, featuring keynote speaker Wandaliz Turner, Director of Community Relations for the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership at Texas Woman’s University. The Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership was established at Texas Woman’s University in 2018 with a clear and focused mission: to prepare women for leadership roles in business, public service, government, and entrepreneurship. The Institute provides education, leadership development, and strategic resources designed to equip women with the competencies necessary to excel professionally and lead with impact in their communities.

As Director of Community Relations, Turner plays a critical role in advancing the Institute’s outreach and partnership initiatives across Texas. Her professional background reflects a distinguished record of public service and leadership. She holds a bachelor’s degree in government and a master’s degree in political science, along with a graduate certificate in history, all from Texas Woman’s University.

Turner is an Army Veteran and a former Texas law enforcement officer. Her career spans workforce development and employer relations, county government, and the nonprofit sector throughout North Texas. Her multidimensional leadership experience uniquely positions her to speak on the evolving role of women in public service and community impact.

“We are honored to welcome Wandaliz Turner as our March luncheon speaker,” said Dr. Di Ann Sanchez, Chair of the Women’s Policy Forum. “Her commitment to leadership development and service aligns directly with our mission to advance and support women and girls in our community.” The Women’s Policy Forum brings together influential women dedicated to effecting positive change through advocacy, leadership, and civic engagement. The March luncheon will provide members and guests with insight into how leadership development initiatives can strengthen communities and expand opportunities for women across Texas.
