Course Aims to Help Teens Learn to Budget, Save, Avoid Debt and Build Financial Independence
Many teens will be bringing home their first paychecks this summer, and the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is offering some help in managing that newfound money. The Y is hosting Teen Financial Literacy Workshops that can help them understand the ins and outs of personal finance and budget like a pro. The program is designed to help young people make wise money decisions as they enter adulthood.
Workshops will be held at the YMCA Eastside Community Impact Center and the McDonald YMCA. The class is free for everyone at the Eastside Community Impact Center, and free for members and $10 for non-members at the McDonald location.
