2 Texans among missing Marines in Hawaii helicopter crash

Two men from suburban Houston are among the dozen Marines missing off Hawaii in the crash of two helicopters.

Maj. Shawn Campbell went to high school in northwest Harris County, graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in microbiology, then joined the Marines. The 41-year-old has served three tours in the Middle East, including one in Iraq, and moved to Hawaii with his wife and four kids about two years ago after serving as a flight instructor in Pensacola, Florida.

Cpl. Matthew Drown, of Spring, enlisted in the Marines shortly after getting out of high school in 2011. The family of the 23-year-old is asking for privacy and for people to remember all the sacrifices made daily by those in the military and their families.
