🕐 0 min read

DALLAS (AP) — Greg Abbott and Wendy Davis are going back to school.

The Republican and Democratic nominees for governor will address the joint convention of the Texas Association of School Boards and Texas Association of School Administrators. The three-day convention opens Friday at the Dallas Convention Center.

Abbott, who is now the Texas attorney general, and Davis, already a state senator, are scheduled to share their views on the state of the Texas education system and proposals for enhancing and improving the quality of the state’s public schools.

Davis is to speak first Friday afternoon, followed immediately by Abbott.
