Bush Texas leadership committee includes Texas House speaker

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign has announced a Texas leadership team that includes his son, Land Commissioner George P. Bush, and state House Speaker Joe Straus.

The former Florida governor’s campaign released an “initial leadership committee” list Monday of 150-plus Texans.

They included top donors and business and industry magnates, as well as current and former state lawmakers, Bush’s brother, Neil, and U.S. Reps. Kay Granger and Pete Sessions.

Jeb’s father, George H.W. Bush, and his brother, George W. Bush, both live in Texas but weren’t included.
