Car allegedly used in deadly Texas hit-and-run located

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (AP) — Police say a car allegedly used in the hit-and-run death of a Dallas-area bicyclist has been located and a felony warrant was issued for the driver.

Grand Prairie police on Tuesday announced the Chevy Malibu has been seized but didn’t immediately provide details on where the car was found.

A warrant for accident involving death was issued for the woman believed driving Sunday when the cyclist, Calvin Middleton Jr. of nearby Cedar Hill, was struck. Grand Prairie police say investigators believe the driver stopped the car, got out, looked at the victim, then got back into the vehicle and sped away.

Middleton died at the scene.
