Charge dropped against Texas A&M wide receiver

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — College Station authorities have dropped a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge against Texas A&M wide receiver Ricky Seals-Jones.

Attorney Cam Reynolds says city attorneys dismissed the charge on Monday for lack of evidence.

Police say on April 6 the redshirt freshman shouted obscenities outside of a bar and challenged another person to a fight. Reynolds says Seals-Jones was “clearly provoked.”

Seals-Jones has caught eight passes in two games this season for 112 yards and two touchdowns.
