Chisholm Trail Community Center will open March 1, with the public welcome to visit the multipurpose fitness and activity center at 4680 McPherson Blvd. in southwest Fort Worth.
The facilty offers group exercise classes, an interactive and structured after-school program, andstate-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, among other features.
Attending grand opening festitivities on Saturday March 1 will be Mayor Betsy Price, District 6 Councilman Jungus Jordan and Crowley schools Superintendent Dan Powell. The resource houses an abstract sculpture created for the center by local artist Etty Horowitz and commissioned through the Fort Worth Public Art Program.
The center is the latest namesake feature of Chisholm Trail Parkway, whose May opening will create a 27.6-mile conduit from Cowtown’s business district to U.S. 67 in Cleburne.
