Dallas hotel lights up in colors of France following attack

🕐 1 min read

DALLAS (AP) — A hotel in Dallas has lit up in the blue, white and red of the French flag in tribute to the victims of the truck attack in Nice, France.

Dozens are dead in Nice after a man drove a truck through crowds celebrating Bastille Day on Thursday along the beachfront. The attack comes a week to the day of a sniper attack on Dallas police that left five officers dead.

An image captured by a Dallas Morning News photographer shows the city’s Omni Hotel lit up in the French flag’s tricolors.

Following the police shootings last week, the same hotel was illuminated in blue with the message, “Back the Blue.”
