DALLAS (AP) — Dallas police say a prominent personal injury attorney was found unresponsive in his vehicle before being taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said Monday that 56-year-old Brian Loncar was found unresponsive Sunday morning in the front seat of his vehicle, which was parked in front of his downtown law office.
Police say the manner and cause of death are still under investigation. Police also said a routine toxicology test will be done.
Loncar’s death came two days after the funeral for his 16-year-old daughter, who killed herself on Nov. 26. According to Grace Loncar’s obituary, she had battled depression.
Brian Loncar was well-known in Texas for his television advertisements, in which he branded himself the “strong arm.” His firm has 11 offices across the state including one in Fort Worth.
