Early voting in May 9 election begins April 27

Early voting for the May 9 Fort Worth municipal election kicks off April 27 and runs through May 5.

All registered voters in City Council districts holding elections are eligible to cast ballots in person between those dates.

Voting by mail is allowed if voters are 65 or older on election day, are disabled or are confined to jail or expect to be out of the county on election day.

Mail ballots may be requested by calling 817-831-6161. Denton County residents may call 940-349-3200. Deadline for returning applications for a ballot by mail is 5 p.m. April 30.
