Early voting runs through Friday in Texas, election Tuesday

🕐 1 min read

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texans wanting to vote early for next week’s election are running out of time to make their advance choices.

Texas Secretary of State Carlos Cascos says early voting runs through Friday. The election is Tuesday.

Texans who wish to cast ballots, in early voting that began Oct. 19, must provide identification that includes a photo.

Voters in Texas House District 118, in the San Antonio area, will pick a replacement for state Rep. Joe Farias. The five-term Democrat from San Antonio in August announced his resignation from the Legislature.
