First Financial Bank, along with Mayor Betsy Price and more than 300 first responders, will proclaim May 24 First Responders’ Day in Fort Worth, a news release said.
For the third consecutive year, First Financial Bank has invited more than 300 area police, fire and emergency medical first responders and their guests to participate in a VIP experience at the First Responders’ Retreat Thursday, May 24 on the 17th fairway at the Fort Worth Invitational at Colonial Country Club.
This year, Price will officially proclaim May 24 as “First Responders’ Day” in Fort Worth, making this a city-wide officiation, the release explained.
“The city of Fort Worth is grateful for the world-class first responders serving our community,” Price said in the release. “Our first responders go above the call of duty each day and they deserve to be celebrated for their service and dedication.”
Following the proclamation, Martin Noto, President and CEO, First Financial Bank, Fort Worth Region, will present Price with a gift to thank her for her service to the city, her dedication to keeping the tournament in Fort Worth and for her support of local first responders.
“We want to take this opportunity to thank these brave first responders by giving them the VIP treatment they deserve,” Noto said in the release. “It is truly an honor to host this special event.”
First round tournament play begins at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, May 24.
