Fort Worth Police looking for man in convience store robbery on McCart

Fort Worth Police are looking for a man who threatened a store clerk with a gun and took cash from the convenience store.

FORT WORTH, Texas – On Jan. 24 at 8:00 a.m., a black male entered a convenience store located at 5100 McCart Ave. He approached the counter to purchase an item. When an employee began the transaction the male jumped behind the counter, threatened the employee with a handgun, stole cash from a register, and left the location.

The suspect is in his early 30s and is 5 feet 8 inches tall. He wore a gray hooded sweater and black sweat pants. Detectives have reason to believe this suspect is responsible for other similar robberies. Anyone who recognizes this suspect is asked to call 817-392-4374. Callers can stay anonymous.
