Fort Worth’s Neighborhood Services Department has a new director

Victor Turner will be taking over the position starting Nov. 25. He currently works as the director of the Housing and Neighborhood Programs Department in Little Rock, Ark.

Turner also served as the department’s assistant director until January 2017. Before that, he worked at the Arkansas Development Finance Authority as a division manager.

Turner holds a bachelor of science in public administration from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and a master of public administration degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He also has completed training at the Community Development Institute at the University of Central Arkansas and is certified as a Housing Development Finance Professional through the National Development Council.

Fort Worth’s Neighborhood Services Department provides social service, community development and affordable housing programs to the citizens.
