Four startups to be recognized at the 2017 TechFW IMPACT Awards Luncheon

TechFW will be recognizing four local technology entrepreneurs at its ninth-annual IMPACT Awards Luncheon.

Comerica Bank is the Presenting Sponsor of the event, which will take place Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Texas Christian University’s Brown Lupton University Union and aims to “celebrate the global impact of emerging technologies.”

In addition to celebrating technology and its impact, the luncheon honors both clients and graduates of TechFW programs, as well as portfolio companies of Cowtown Angels. Cowtown Angels is a program within TechFW that connects independent investors and startups.

“TechFW is thrilled to give recognition to our clients that already are achieving measurable success,” said TechFW Executive Director Darlene Boudreaux, in a news release. “These entrepreneurs being recognized are committed to new or advanced technology to better our world. The opportunity to shine this spotlight on them is gratifying.”

According to the release, Moran and the Venture investment team will seek “small, private technology companies aligned with the business initiatives and strategies of Lockheed Martin,” at the event.

Four startups will be recognized at the event based on the TechFW Board’s “belief that they have the potential to impact our world,” the release stated. The release also provided snapshots on the four companies to be recognized:
