Gunman in disturbance fatally shot by Fort Worth police

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Fort Worth police have shot and killed a gunman who opened fire on officers as they answered a call about a disturbance at a home.

Sgt. Steve Enright says the suspect continued firing at officers throughout the incident early Wednesday before being killed. No officers were hurt.

Police say another man who was shot, allegedly by the suspect, has been transported to a Fort Worth hospital for treatment of an arm injury.

Investigators are trying to determine what prompted the violent argument.
