Princeton student from Plano charged with touching woman in dorm

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a Princeton student has been charged after breaking into a female student’s room and touching her while lying in her bed.

Mercer County prosecutors said that 19-year-old Ronbo Fan of Plano was charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.

Fan declined to comment on the charges Thursday. He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned on Nov. 23.

Prosecutors say Princeton’s public safety department received a call on Oct. 31 that an unknown person entered her room in 1915 Hall. She told investigators that she woke up and felt someone touching her. She screamed and the suspect fled.
