DALLAS (AP) — A prominent Dallas personal injury attorney has died about a week after the suicide of his 16-year-old daughter.
The Dallas County medical examiner’s office says Brian Loncar died Sunday but that a cause of death has not yet been determined. Police said he’d been taken to a hospital overnight.
The 56-year-old was well-known in Texas for his television advertisements, in which he branded himself the “strong arm.” His firm has 11 offices across Texas, including one in Fort Worth.
A statement from Brian Loncar’s family on Sunday said they were filled with “enormous sadness and profound grief” following his death. It also said they were “hurting and struggling to understand.”
Grace Loncar’s funeral was held Friday. According to her obituary, she’d long battled depression.
