Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne, who said earlier that she would not run for a third term, is apparently joining the Trump Administration.
According to a report in the Daily Caller, Van Duyne will join the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). According to the Dallas Morning News, Van Duyne announced at a luncheon Thursday that she would take a position in the administration.
HUD Secretary Ben Carson last week made a trip to North Texas, visiting the Fort Worth Housing Solutions’ Hunter Plaza Apartments.
