The first of several public meetings on Fort Worth’s 2014 bond program has been scheduled for Saturday July 13.

The event is set from 10 a.m. to noon at the Hazel Harvey Peace Center, 818 Missouri Ave.

All public meetings will focus on determining projects to be proposed for funding in the $296 bond initiative. Residents also will have an option to provide feedback online.

Beginning in mid-July, a new section of the city’s website will allow residents to submit ideas for potential projects. They also may comment on those suggested by other residents and those recommended by city staff.
