Suspect in 2015 Dallas killing returned from Mexico

DALLAS (AP) — The FBI says Mexico has returned a man suspected of killing an ex-girlfriend woman in 2015 whose remains were found under a Dallas highway bridge.

An FBI statement says Faustino Lara Valdez has been deported to face a state murder charge in the December 2015 killing of Marisol Espinosa, a 34-year-old mother of three.

A group of people concerned about the care of animals discovered the remains under a bridge in southeastern Dallas in March 2016.

Valdez fled to Mexico shortly after being questioned by Dallas police detectives.
