TYLER, Texas (AP) — Police are seeking an armed man seen fleeing from an East Texas house after gunfire that’s left two people dead and one wounded.

Officer Don Martin says police Monday night responded to calls about gunfire heard in a neighborhood. Officers located the body of 17-year-old Daquan Munson in his home.

Martin says 51-year-old Charlie Verdell was found wounded on the porch. He died Tuesday at a hospital.

Police declined to release the condition of the hospitalized surviving victim — 32-year-old Ladidre Patrice Blevins. Martin says she’s the mother of the slain teen and also lived at the house in Tyler, 90 miles east of Dallas.

Martin says Verdell was not related to the other victims. Police didn’t immediately say how Verdell knew the woman and her son.
