Former Fort Worth Councilwoman and mayoral candidate Cathy Hirt and her husband Darrell were killed in a automobile accident on Friday in Hungary, according to several city officials. Hirt represented District 9 on the city’s southside from 1996 to 1999.
According to the U.S. State Department “Catharina Hirt and Mr. Darrell Lee Hirt died in Hungary on the highway between Monor and Budapest on October 2, 2015.”
