Fort Worth’s Cook Children’s Medical Center has made the Soliant’s list of Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. for 2019.

This year’s top 20 was narrowed down from 96 hospital nominations. There were a record number of votes this year, over 8.5 million.

There were a handful of states that saw a little more love this year. Florida was represented three times and Illinois, California, Texas and Pennsylvania each had two hospitals make our list. Every other hospital in the 2019 rankings comes from a different state.

Some hospitals are repeat winners, but a majority of the facilities were new to the competition. Find out what makes these special hospitals so beautiful in our 2019 top 20 list!

Here’s what Soliant, part of the Adecco Group, a leading provider of specialized healthcare staffing services to hospitals, schools, and other healthcare providers, had to say about Cook Children’s Medical Center, which came in No. 20 on the list.

“(4,634 votes) The giant fantastical statue located at the main entrance of the hospital looks like one of the iconic multi-story statues from Walt Disney World’s iconic Art of Animation hotel. The whimsical statue makes it very clear that the children are of the highest priority here, a beautiful sentiment that can be seen throughout the hospital and is put to practice by a wonderful staff. Who wouldn’t want to try and get well at such an enchanting facility? Worthy indeed of being highlighted as one of America’s most beautiful hospitals.”

Also on the list from Texas was Quitman’s UT Health Quitman, which came in at No. 5. No. 1 this year was Pipestone County Medical Center & Family Clinic Avera, Pipestone, MN
