Fort Worth physician elected president of TMA

 

At its annual meeting in San Antonio on Saturday, the Texas Medical Association elected Fort Worth physician Stephen Brotherton, M.D., as its 148th president. An orthopedic surgeon, Brotherton is a past president of the Tarrant County Medical Society. Brotherton says his three top priorities during his term are supporting and shoring up primary care for patients, ensuring patient safety and strengthening local county medical societies, according to a TMA news release. Frisco psychiatrist Clifford K. Moy was selected as speaker of the TMA House of Delegates.
