Fort Worth Business presented the 2016 Healthcare Hero awards Wednesday night at the Fort Worth Club.
Moncrief Cancer Institute received the Platinum Award for its continuing and growing commitment to providing innovative and affordable treatment in North Texas.
Randy Moresi, retiring CEO at HCA’s North Hills Hospital received the Legend Award.
“We all compete like crazy,” he told the crowd, “but at the end of the day we all just care about taking care of people.”
Taking note of all the different healthcare and volunteer jobs honored at the event, he said, “I got to live vicariously through the heroes that walk the halls each day [in the hospital.].”
