Holiday Trip Treat: DFW Airport posts video of therapy dogs

Therapy Dog

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport officials have put together a holiday feel-good video of the airport’s therapy dogs greeting holiday travelers this week.

One of the camera operators was in fact one of the therapy dogs. The camera was mounted on a golden retriever.

The therapy dog program at DFW started in October and we have 12 dogs working in Terminal B right now. We plan to deploy 60 therapy dogs throughout all five terminals within the next few months.

Each therapy dog has a collectable trading card, distributed by its handler, that includes the dog’s name, age, weight and training certifications.
