Methodist Urgent Care, an affiliate of Methodist Health System, has opened its fourth location in Mansfield, located at 1718 U.S. 287 Frontage Road, Suite 100.
The center offers healthcare and occupational medicine services to individuals suffering from non-life threatening injuries and illnesses. Doctors and staff can treat broken bones, respiratory illnesses, and animal and insect bites, and can administer school and sports physicals and flu vaccinations. Diagnostic capabilities include electrocardiogram and pregnancy tests.
The center is open 365 days a year, and no appointments are necessary. Methodist Urgent Care accepts all major insurance plans, including Medicare, UnitedHealthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The new center is a joint venture between Dallas-based Methodist Health System and TeamHealth. Seven hospitals and 25 Methodist Family Health Centers and Medical Groups are among the facilities serves by the nonprofit Methodist Health System, which is affiliated by covenant with the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church.
