Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) today reported two more COVID-19 deaths. The deceased include a man in his 80s from Benbrook and a man in his 60s from Fort Worth. Both had underlying health conditions.
Tarrant County now has 77 confirmed deaths from the COVID-19 virus. 651 people have recovered. Tarrant County reported 40 new cases on May 4.
“Our condolences go out to the families for their loss,” said Tarrant County Public Health Director Vinny Taneja.
Denton County Public Health (DCPH) has announced 4 new laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Denton County. This increases the cumulative, countywide total to 803 confirmed COVID-19 cases. DCPH is also announcing 1 newly recovered COVID-19 case within the county.
