Tarrant County Public Health reported five COVID-19 deaths on Thursday, Oct. 8.
The deceased include a woman from Arlington in her 80s, a man and woman from Fort Worth in their 70s, a woman from Haltom City in her 60s, and a woman from Fort Worth in her 40s.
All but one of the individuals had underlying health conditions.
Tarrant County now has 685 confirmed deaths from the COVID-19 virus and 45,715 people have recovered.
