TEXAS HEALTH NAMED AMONG THE BEST WORKPLACES FOR WOMEN

Texas Health Resources is ranked No. 5 on the 75 Best Large Workplaces for Women list by Fortune and Great Place to Work, the organization said in a news release.

This is the health system’s fourth consecutive year to be recognized.

Texas Health is the top ranked health system on the list, as well as the highest-ranking Texas-based organization, the release said.

The rankings for the Best Workplaces for Women are based on feedback from employee surveys. Participants answered questions about a variety of topics, including access to leadership, fairness of promotions, support for employees’ personal lives, and level of inclusion and connectedness with colleagues.

“This award is especially meaningful for Texas Health since almost 80 percent of our employees are female,” said Michelle Kirby, executive vice president and chief people officer at Texas Health. “We are committed to providing women with amazing career opportunities in a supportive environment.”
