Texas Health named one of People’s 50 Companies That Care
Texas Health Resources has been named to the 2019 Companies that Care list by People magazine and Great Place to Work taking the No. 38 spot, the health care company said in a news release.

“It’s truly an honor to be included on this list and recognized for the amazing programs that make a difference in the lives of our employees and the people in the communities we serve,” Michelle Kirby, executive vice president and chief people officer of Texas Health, said in the release.
The hospital said a few examples of how Texas Health demonstrates its caring nature are through multiple veterans’ programs, the Nursing Career Advancement Program (NCAP), and the annual Community Responsibility and Sustainability Report.
“Investing in our workforce and our community outreach are some of our greatest strengths,” said Barclay Berdan, FACHE, chief executive officer of Texas Health.
The rankings for the Companies that Care list are based on feedback from employee surveys. Participants answered questions about a variety of topics, including being treated with respect, opportunities for professional development and team work.
