Texas Health Resources has been named a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For for the second year in a row, this year being ranked No. 46 on the list, up from No. 69 last year.
“This recognition is a distinguished honor for our organization and a testament to the hard work of every member of the Texas Health family,” said Barclay Berdan, CEO of Arlington-based Texas Health Resources. “Being named one of the 2016 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For speaks to the way we take care of and support each other, and that is reflected in the compassion and care we show our patients.”
Texas Health is the only health care system in Texas and the fifth highest ranking health care system in the United States to be included on the list.
The Fortune 100 selection process includes an employee survey and an in-depth questionnaire about programs and company practices. Fortune’s partner Great Place to Work then evaluates applications using methodology based on five dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.
