BNSF Logistics LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Burlington Northern Santa Fe LLC, a Berkshire Hathaway company, has signed a 10-year lease to relocate its global headquarters from Grapevine to the Lakeside Business District in Flower Mound. Terms of the lease were not disclosed. The third- party logistic services provider will manage its Dallas market and international business from the 38,000-square-foot space beginning in November. Located three miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, the 1,500-acre Lakeside Business District has a 99 percent occupancy rate, with additional facilities under construction. More than 45 businesses are now operating within the district, including Stryker Communications and Best Buy Distribution, the corporate headquarters of FUNimation and ThermoTek, plus retail stores Home Depot and Stacy Furniture.
