Tarrant County Homeless Coalition Executive Director Cindy J. Crain presents a unique way to support homeless women in our community, with or without underwire. It’s Bubbles and Bras, where champagne at a bargain price is exchanged for a new or gently used bra, all on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Little Red Wasp at 808 Main Street in downtown Fort Worth. “Every woman has at least one bra she doesn’t like or that just plain doesn’t fit,” said Ms. Crain. “Instead of tossing it out, bring it to Little Red Wasp on April Fools Day and get $2 bubbles in exchange.” TCHC is looking for all types and sizes of bras, whatever you can spare. The goal is to gather 2,000 bras by the end of the event. Cash donations are also accepted. |
