Goodwill Fort Worth to host Grantsmanship Training Course for nonprofit and government grantseekers

Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth and the Dallas Public Library will co-host a Grantsmanship Training Program in Fort Worth, the week of June 4-8, a news release announced.

The training will be held at Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth, 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas. The organizations tout that this program can improve one’s ability to win grants, and say the program has a proven record of benefits.

The release explained that thousands of professionals who’ve completed the training in previous years have experienced success in winning grants, and they attribute that success largely to the training course.

Attendees will practice using The Grantsmanship Center’s unique approach to planning programs and writing grant proposals, and the organizers say attendees will leave with a wealth of useful, up-to-date, practical information.

The release said the textbook, Program Planning & Proposal Writing, is highly recommended for the training and will be referenced during class. The book will be available for purchase at the time of registration.

Registration for the course is limited to 30 participants, and tuition is $1,095, though there are a limited number of half-scholarships available for qualified organizations and alumni may qualify for special discounts.
