Hiring to begin for Arlington Texas Live!

Texas Live! will bring over 1,000 new permanent jobs to the city of Arlington and Tarrant County

The Texas Rangers, The Cordish Companies and Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County have come together to begin hiring initiatives for the Texas Live! sports-anchored development currently under construction in the Arlington Entertainment District, a news release said.

Texas Live! is scheduled to open late summer/early fall 2019, bringing over 3,000 new jobs to the city of Arlington and Tarrant County, including 2,000 construction jobs and 1,025 permanent jobs. Additionally, a hotel near the development debuting in 2019 will add 220 permanent jobs to the region upon opening.

“Texas Live! is more than a dining, entertainment and sports destination for our great city,” Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams said in the release. “It’s a significant development that is creating over a thousand permanent, good-paying jobs for our residents right in the heart of our world-class Entertainment District.”

The development is seeking applicants for all types of positions from entry level to management opportunities including servers, cooks, bartenders, front and back-of-house, music entertainment specialists, as well as sales, marketing, and promotional managers.
