Kelly to keynote commencement at Texas Wesleyan law school

Dee J. Kelly, founding partner at Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP, will give the keynote speech at Texas Wesleyan School of Law’s commencement ceremony May 11, at 10 a.m. at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, MacGorman Chapel, located at 2001 W. Seminary Dr. in Fort Worth. Kelly earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and his law degree from George Washington University Law School. He later received the Distinguished Alumni Award from both universities. In 1979, he formed Kelly, Hart & Hallman PC with Mark L. Hart Jr. and William P. Hallman Jr. In October 2005, the Texas Wesleyan School of Law library was formally named the Dee J. Kelly Law Library in honor of Kelly through gifts made by the Burnett Foundation and the Sid W. Richardson Foundation. Kelly received an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in 2012.
