Mercy Clinic adds development director

Mercy Clinic of Fort Worth has added Brandon Nelson as director of development. Nelson has over 10 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and development. Nelson will lead the advancement of Mercy Clinic’s mission, vision and core values to provide free health care, spiritual care and assistance to the underserved population in South Fort Worth. He will also continue Mercy’s capital campaign fundraising to build a new clinic on Hemphill Street in south Fort Worth.

Nelson formerly worked for Presbyterian Night Shelter in Fort Worth, University of Texas at Arlington, the Steven Jackson Foundation in St. Louis and the Atlanta Braves Foundation in Atlanta. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Hampton University and an MBA from Eastern Illinois University.

Christanne Knorr has joined Balcom Agency as account director, bringing more than 10 years of account management experience to the agency and its clients.

EDUCATION

Nicole Devlin Stroud will become the Middle School Division head at All Saints’ Episcopal School in the 2019-2020 school year. She is assistant head of the All Saints’ Lower School where she has been integral in developing the adjustments to the Sixth Grade so that it continues to serve as a bridge year between Lower and Middle School.

The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association honored Visit Fort Worth at the 62nd Annual Adrian Awards in New York City with a gold in public relations for the SKIFT feature “How Fort Worth Invested Big in SXSW to Show the World It’s Not a Dallas Suburb.”

The Adrian Awards recognize hospitality brands and agencies for creativity and innovation in advertising, digital marketing and public relations.
