Newsmakers: North American Title staffs Fort Worth office

Roland Love has been named president of the Texas Region for North American Title Co., which opened an office at 2813 Hulen St. in Fort Worth. Love was previously a shareholder with Winstead PC, where he focused primarily on real estate and title matters for more than 30 years. Love has served as chairman of the State Bar of Texas Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section, is a Fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and held several chairmanships with the Texas Land Title Association.

Suzanne Frossard has joined North American Title in its Fort Worth office as legal counsel. She most recently was a sole practitioner providing real estate closing and land law services for 16 years. She has wide experience as an escrow officer and closing attorney.

A frequent speaker on real estate topics, Frossard is a Texas Real Estate Commission-approved instructor, a speaker for the Texas Land Title Institute of the Texas Land Title Association, and a past speaker and moderator for the State Bar of Texas Advanced Real Estate Law Course. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and law degree from the Southern Methodist University School of Law.

Frossard is a member of the board of directors of the YWCA of Tarrant County and the leadership team of the Junior League of Fort Worth.

Trademark promotes Hall at WestBend, Waterside

Angela Hall has been named general manager and marketing director at Trademark Property Co.’s Waterside and WestBend, its two newest Fort Worth developments.

As general manager, Hall will be responsible for the fiscal and physical management of the properties, as well as relations with tenants, vendors and neighborhood stakeholders. As marketing director, she will continue to lead the shopping centers’ consumer marketing efforts, events, public relations plans and digital communications.

“Angela has been an invaluable asset as the marketing director for WestBend and Waterside,” said Terry Montesi, CEO of Trademark Property Co. “We are confident that she will continue to lead the two properties to grow and prosper with the same strong leadership, creativity and enthusiasm we have come to expect from her.”

Since joining Trademark in 2016, Hall has overseen the opening of Waterside, Trademark’s 63-acre mixed-use property at Bryant Irvin Road and Arborlawn Drive, including providing support for tenant openings, launching the property’s debut event programming and supporting implementation of the property’s Conscious Place initiative. At WestBend, a mixed-use property on University Drive, Hall has focused on supporting leasing and tenant openings, and implementing event programming.

Hall has over 18 years of experience planning and marketing events of all types and sizes, including social, corporate and nonprofit. Most recently, she was the marketing director for Vestar, overseeing marketing for West 7th in Fort Worth, Village on the Green in Dallas and Village on the Parkway in Addison.

Hall received her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master’s degree in entrepreneurship from Southern Methodist University, where she graduated at the top of her program. She was named a Forty Under Forty honoree by the Fort Worth Business Press in 2015 and was executive board president for Steer Fort Worth in 2016.

BOARDS AND ORGANIZATIONS

Jonathan Jenswold, a franchise owner with AtWork Group, a multii-specialty staffing franchise, was appointed to the 2017 Texas Association of Staffing Board of Directors. He has also been appointed to the AtWork Group Franchise Advisory Council.

FOOD SERVICES

Farmer Bros. Co. has appointed Ellen D. Iobst as chief operations officer.

Iobst worked recently as an independent consultant with Farmer Bros. on a number of strategic initiatives, including manufacturing sourcing, supply chain improvement, mergers and acquisitions, and project implementation. Iobst previously worked for Sunny Delight Beverages Co. and Procter & Gamble.

ENGINEERING

The civil engineering firm of Pacheco Koch announced several promotions in its Fort Worth and Dallas offices. Carlo Andreani has been named a principal of the firm. He is a registered civil engineer with more than 11 years of experience and leads the private development team in the firm’s Fort Worth office.

Holly McPherson, also based in the Fort Worth office, has been promoted to associate principal. She has been with Pacheco Koch for 7 years, working directly with the firm’s public clients. She is active in several local Chamber of Commerce organizations and is president-elect of the Texas Municipal League.

Christopher J. Cha has been promoted to associate principal. Cha has over 8 years of experience performing civil engineering design and helping lead the public works team in the firm’s Fort Worth office.

In the Dallas office, Steven M. Heilbrun has been promoted to principal, Thelma Flores Box to associate principal and Ryan Mortensen to associate principal.

Mark Debenport has joined The Beck Group’s Fort Worth office. Debenport has worked in the industry in Fort Worth since 1994, most recently at The Walsh Group/Archer Western Construction as preconstruction director.

GOVERNMENT

Andrea Roy is the new economic development director for the Town of Flower Mound, effective March 20. Roy most recently was economic development manager for the City of Carrollton, a position she held since March 2015.

Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed nine members to the Trinity River Authority Board Of Directors, including Whitney Beckworth, – photo – an associate in the litigation practice group at Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP, and William “Will” Rodgers, vice president of Collins and Young LLC in Fort Worth.

Gov. Greg Abbott has reappointed Don Hase of Arlington and Alex Bunin of Houston to the governing board of the Texas Indigent Defense Commission for terms set to expire Feb. 1, 2019. The commission provides financial and technical support to counties to develop and maintain quality, cost-effective indigent defense systems. Hase is an attorney and partner at Ball & Hase PC and a former assistant district attorney for Tarrant County. Bunin is the chief public defender for Harris County.

HONORS AND AWARDS

Lashelle Knox, marketing director for QCS Unlimited Inc., has received the Charles Cox Service Award from the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. Nominated and voted upon by peers in the chamber’s Action Ambassador program, the Cox award recognizes an Ambassador who is exemplary by rarely missing an Ambassador event, is always ready to help, and who represents the Fort Worth Chamber exceedingly well. QCS Unlimited is a full-service commercial janitorial company.

Marnie Stites, director of marketing and resource development for the nonprofit Guardianship Services Inc., received Ambassador of the Year for 2016, an honor based on the number of points earned for attending Ambassador events.

Stacei Shelley has been named to lead Beacon Hill Associates in its new Fort Worth location.

Broude, Smith & Jennings PC has added shareholder William T. Fitzgerald, associate Robert J. Fitzgerald, and of counsel attorney Preston J. Dugas III. Effective March 1, the firm’s name has changed to Broude, Smith, Jennings, McGlinchey & Fitzgerald, PC.

Southeastern Freight Lines has promoted Justin Proffitt to service center manager in Fort Worth.
