TeleTech expansion promises Ennis 400 new jobs

A. Lee Graham Reporter   TeleTech Holdings Inc. is opening a location in Ennis east of Dallas, creating 400 new jobs to serve the Englewood, Colo.-based company’s growing health-care clientele. A state health insurance sales license is required for about 150 of the positions. All unlicensed new hire candidates for those positions will be enrolled in a TeleTech career development program providing candidates the means to obtain their license. TeleTech will pay training, exam and background check expenses. Remaining positions are for unlicensed associates who will participate in service-related customer support. About two-thirds of the 400 positions are seasonal and associated with the Medicare open enrollment ramp. Training begins in August. The company plans to eventually need more than 700 employees in Ennis and plans to continue adding staff until the site reaches full capacity. Those interested in submitting job applications may apply at www.teletechjobs.com or in person every Tuesday from July 2 through August 20 at 2000 U.S. 287 Bypass, Ennis. New employee classes will begin in July when the new center is open. The new center will have a sister office in Melbourne, Fla., which will offer 250 additional positions similar in nature.
