U.S. Concrete joins Russell 2000 Index

U.S. Concrete Inc. has been added as a member of the U.S. small-cap Russell 2000 Index, a subset of the Russell 3000 Index, the Euless-based company said July 9.

The Russell 3000 Index measures the performance of the largest 3,000 U.S. companies representing about 98 percent of the investable U.S. equity market. The Russell 2000 Index represents about 10 percent of the total market capitalization of the Russell

3000 Index and includes about 2,000 of the smallest securities in the Russell 3000 Index based on a combination of their market cap and current index membership. Membership in the Russell indices was finalized after the equity markets closed on June 28 and is subject to annual reconstitution by Russell Investments. U.S. Concrete Inc. trades on the Nasdaq under the symbol “USCR.”
