ViewPoint CFO announces resignation

Pathie E. McKee, executive vice president and chief financial officer for ViewPoint Financial Group Inc., announced July 3 she will resign from the company effective July 31.

McKee will provide the Plano-based company with consulting services through Dec. 31, 2013.

McKee, 48, has served as chief financial officer since 1997, and has been employed by ViewPoint since 1983.

The company has started a national search for McKee’s successor. Kari Anderson, the company’s senior vice president and controller, has been promoted to the position of chief accounting officer, and will assume interim responsibilities during McKee’s transition, including responsibility for serving both as the company’s principal accounting officer and principal financial officer. Anderson joined ViewPoint in 1993 and has served 11 years in her current position. Anderson has almost 20 years of banking and accounting experience. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Texas State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
