Women of Distinction Honorees

Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains has announced five honorees for the Fort Worth Women of Distinction awards, presented to women leaders in recognition of their leadership and service in the community. They are:

Discover Award: Paulette Turner, president/owner, Integrated Leadership Concepts, and president, The Links, Inc., Fort Worth chapter.

Connect Award: Anette Soto, project manager, Office of Inspector General, U.S. Transportation Department, and chair, Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas.

Take Action Award: Natalie Martin, owner, Three Bishops Jewelry, and president-elect, Junior League of Fort Worth.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Martha Crawley and Mary Helen Horne, historians, Girls Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains.

The women will be honored at a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the Fort Worth Club. This year’s keynote speaker is Carolyn Phillips, owner of Fort Worth-based Alchemy Pops. Proceeds from the event will benefit programs for Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains.
